Engagement
SWC Partnership engages Splitlight to design, build, and deliver a touchscreen application for the Fullsight stand at Farnborough Airshow on 20 July 2026, showcasing the programs of SAE-ITC, SAE International, and PRI under the shared proposition Driving Progress, Setting Standards, Protecting Quality.
The application is built on Splitlight's existing prototype (sae-interactive-demos.vercel.app), reusing the touch-first Next.js / React / Tailwind foundation, career-path quiz, and aircraft explorer interactions developed since December 2025. Offline-first by design: the experience runs without a network connection, with lead captures and event logs queued locally and auto-synced when connectivity returns. Hardware (Mini PC + touchscreen) is sourced and assembled by the Bristol stand builder; Splitlight delivers the application.
Deliverables
The deliverables fall into three groups: the application itself, the supporting wrap-arounds, and items deliberately out of scope.
- Attract / idle loop with auto-reset
- Home screen: three-affiliate selection, shared tagline, static fireside-schedule sub-page
- Two navigation paths: top-nav direct browse + guided recommender ('I am [role] + I want [goal]' → curated programs)
- Three affiliate program grids (selection layer)
- One flexible program-detail template populated with 19 program records
- Plane visual motif on ITC + SAE Int'l detail screens
- "How It All Works Together" lifecycle screen
- Two output options on the recommendation screen: (a) email signup with 10% discount incentive, (b) QR code take-away for self-service
- Lead capture form (name, email, affiliate interest, consent)
- Per-screen pathway logging (every choice and route captured, online or offline)
- Offline-first: bundled assets, queued mutations, automatic sync when the network returns
- Single Fullsight brand identity applied throughout
- Kiosk hardening: idle reset, no nav chrome, 80px touch targets, performance pass
- ITCARINC, AESQ, ASPQP, AMCC, DSA, Probitas
- SAEStandards, Publications, Events, Workforce, Foundation, Make Your Next Move
- PRINadcap, Training, Qualification, Certification, QPL, CAAP, Performance360
- Live admin dashboard (password-protected) with funnel + pathway analytics
- Per-screen event logging via Convex, real-time when online, queued + auto-synced when offline
- 30-day data retention with automatic deletion (GDPR / PII compliance)
- CSV + JSON export from the dashboard (leads + events)
- Content data spec and 19 populated program records
- Clickable Next.js prototype for the 5 Jun review milestone
- Deployment and kiosk-launch instructions for the stand builder
- IA, screen inventory, and build-approach documentation
Multi-vertical switcher · Live CMS for the fireside schedule · Direct CRM integration (Marketo push, etc., flagged as complicated in discovery, separate workstream) · Multi-user admin auth with role splits and audit log · Advanced analytics views (Sankey, cohort retention, A/B testing) · Bespoke 3D illustration or new plane asset · Multi-language
Available as separate engagements after the show.

Fee and payment
Total fee, fixed and all-inclusive for the scope above:
Invoices payable 14 days from issue. No hourly billing within scope. Out-of-scope work is quoted separately and pre-approved in writing.
- 01£4,600SOW countersigned
- 02£4,600UI complete (~26 Jun)
- 03£2,300Delivery to stand builder (13 Jul)
Assumptions
The fee assumes the following. If any prove false, the scope and fee will be revisited in writing before further work is undertaken.
- 01The existing Splitlight sae-tw4 codebase is the starting point; Splitlight retains IP in pre-existing components.
- 02Content lead: Tom (copywriter). Content arrives in usable form by Fri 5 Jun, with a v2 placeholder pass complete by Fri 15 May. AI-assisted course matrix generation from existing site data is acceptable.
- 03The Fullsight brand pack (logo, colours, fonts) is supplied by Wed 20 May.
- 04Lead capture and event logging go to a Convex-backed admin dashboard, accessible via single-password login. Data retained for 30 days then auto-deleted. Up to ~5 admin users share one credential. Consent text supplied by SAE / Fullsight.
- 05The application is offline-first: bundled content, queued mutations, automatic sync when online. No in-show CMS or content fetch.
- 06Direct CRM push (Marketo, etc.) is excluded by mutual agreement, the dashboard with export is the integration surface.
- 07The plane visual reuses the prototype's existing aircraft illustration. Not a bespoke commission.
- 08Hardware: Bristol-based stand builder supplies the Mini PC + touchscreen and on-site assembly. 16:9 orientation (single or dual to be confirmed by Tue 19 May). Splitlight delivers the application only.
- 09Maximum of two rounds of revision at wireframe stage and one round at UI stage. Further rounds are scoped as additional work.
- 10Show-week support is on-call (remote), not on-site at Farnborough. On-site presence is quoted separately if required.
Acceptance and sign-off
Acceptance criteria: the application meets the scope in §02 and passes client UAT by 10 Jul. The 13 Jul delivery to the stand builder is the final acceptance milestone.
